OHIO — Police reported that two individuals were arrested and charged after a disturbance at a gathering in Lockland, Ohio.
Authorities stated that Tremell Jones and Quinton Thomas were taken into custody Thursday night. They face charges of inciting a riot, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. in the 600 block of West Wyoming Avenue, according to the Lockland Police Department.
Officers responded to a large gathering where attendees were playing loud music and blocking sidewalks. Police warned the group about the noise and instructed them to shut down the party, but they refused to comply.
Officials said Jones and Thomas acted aggressively and tried to encourage others to disregard police instructions.
When officers attempted to detain the two men, they resisted. Police used less-lethal Pepperball rounds to bring the situation under control.
Authorities transported both individuals to the Hamilton County Justice Center.
No further injuries were reported.
