OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Officers were called to a situation involving a barricaded suspect in northwest Omaha Tuesday evening.
A heavy police presence was visible near 129th Street and Camden Avenue.
According to Omaha police, officers arrived after receiving a report that a man was using a baseball bat to smash the windows of his own home.
The man then barricaded himself inside the house before officers later took him into custody. Authorities arrested him on an outstanding felony warrant related to domestic violence. His name had not been released as of Tuesday night.
