Pedestrian dies after semi crash on I-75 in northern Kentucky

ERLANGER, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — A semi struck and killed a pedestrian on I-75 in northern Kentucky early Monday morning, according to the Erlanger Police Department.

Police said they responded around 3 a.m. to the southbound lanes of I-75 near mile marker 184.5 after receiving reports of a crash involving a pedestrian and a semi.

Officers pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene, authorities said.

Police added that the investigation remains ongoing, and they will not release the pedestrian’s identity at this time.
