Motorcyclist dies after Brown County crash

BROWN COUNTY, Ohio (WXIX) – Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that a 69-year-old motorcyclist died Thursday after a crash that happened Tuesday evening.

Authorities said David Harris of Williamsburg was riding a 2012 Harley Davidson Wide Glide westbound on Eden Road when he lost control while navigating a curve.

Troopers said Harris was first taken to Mt. Orab Mercy Hospital and later airlifted by Air Evac to UC Medical Center.

Officials noted that he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

He passed away the following day, according to troopers.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
