ALEXANDRIA, Ky. (WKYT) – Police in Alexandria say a months-long investigation has resulted in several arrests involving the distribution of illegal THC vape cartridges to minors at local schools, along with other charges.
The Alexandria Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence on April 15.
According to authorities, Fares J. Radel, Michelle Radel, and a minor were arrested in connection with the investigation.
Police say Fares J. Radel is facing the following charges:
- First-degree trafficking of methamphetamine
- First-degree possession of methamphetamine
- Drug paraphernalia
- Receiving stolen property (firearm)
- Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
- Defacing a firearm
- Endangering the welfare of a minor
Michelle Radel is charged with:
- First-degree trafficking of methamphetamine
- First-degree possession of methamphetamine
- Drug paraphernalia
- Receiving stolen property (firearm)
- Defacing a firearm
- Endangering the welfare of a minor
The minor involved is facing charges including:
- Receiving stolen property (firearm)
- Trafficking of marijuana
- Possession of marijuana
- Drug paraphernalia
Police say additional charges are pending against another adult as the investigation continues.
