A 13-year-old boy was taken to the hospital after a car hit him in North Omaha Monday afternoon.
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Police said a car struck a 13-year-old boy in North Omaha Monday afternoon, sending him to the hospital.
Officers reported the crash happened around 4 p.m. near 42nd and Sprague streets.
According to Omaha Police, the boy was riding his bike when the collision occurred. Emergency crews transported him to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver remained at the scene, called 911, and spoke with officers. Police said they have not cited the driver for any violations.
The Omaha Police Department continues to investigate the crash.
