Florence — A woman was killed and another person injured following a head-on crash on Mall Road Saturday night.
According to the Florence Police Department, the crash occurred shortly before 9 p.m. on April 11 when an adult woman drove the wrong way on Mall Road.
Police said the woman was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes when she collided with another vehicle.
The second driver was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
The wrong-way driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
