This stretch of warm weather has already set records across the region, and temperatures could tie record highs again on Wednesday.

FORECAST

Wednesday will feel like summer once again, with highs climbing into the upper 80s and nearing record levels. Omaha and Lincoln both hold records of 91º, set in 1907.

A cold front will move in on Thursday, bringing breezy conditions. Temperatures will drop slightly, with highs around 70.

Friday will be mostly sunny, with highs near 50 and lows dipping into the upper 20s.

The weekend will begin on a chilly note, but temperatures will quickly rise above average. Highs will reach the 60s on Saturday and climb into the 70s on Sunday.

Although conditions have been very dry lately, signs point to a wetter pattern developing next week. Highs on Monday and Tuesday will reach the low 80s.
