Monday may be slightly cooler than the rest of the week, but a chance of light drizzle adds some variation to the forecast.

Light drizzle possible before temperatures rise again

FORECAST

Cloud cover will dominate much of Monday, with temperatures reaching only the mid-50s, which is typical for March.

There is a chance of light drizzle this afternoon, but limited moisture means much of it may not reach the ground.

Once the clouds clear, a warming trend begins Tuesday, with highs climbing back into the 70s.

By Wednesday, it will feel like summer again, with highs reaching the mid-80s.

Another front moves through on Thursday, bringing a slight chance of rain, increased winds and cooler air.

For the weekend, temperatures will settle into the 60s and 70s.

Conditions remain mostly dry over the next seven days, though early signs suggest a pattern change could bring more active weather to the Heartland by early April.
