GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) — A 35-year-old man was hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a train Sunday afternoon, according to the Grand Island Fire Department.

The incident occurred around 1:09 p.m. at the railroad crossing near Third Street and Broadwell Avenue.
