OMAHA, Neb. — Two people were injured in a crash that left one vehicle on its side in northwest Omaha on Friday afternoon.

According to the Omaha Police Department, emergency crews were called to the intersection of 88th and Maple Streets at about 3:26 p.m.

Authorities said the crash involved two vehicles, and the impact caused one of them to overturn in the roadway.

Both people injured in the crash were transported to a hospital by ambulance. Douglas County Dispatch reported that at least one person may have suffered serious injuries.
