Omaha — Authorities have closed parts of Interstate 680 and Maple Street due to ongoing law enforcement activity.
According to the Omaha Police Department, southbound I-680 is shut down at Maple Street. Westbound traffic on West Maple Road is also closed from 102nd Street.
Drivers exiting onto Fort Street are advised to use 108th Street south and reconnect with I-680 at Dodge Street. Those traveling westbound on Maple Street should take 102nd Street south to Blondo Street to cross I-680.
Police said the situation is isolated and confirmed there is no threat to the public.
