OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A man arrested in connection with a fatal North Omaha shooting changed his plea on Thursday.

Jonathan Nauden, 26, entered a no contest plea to a manslaughter charge.

Prosecutors dismissed charges of discharging a firearm near a vehicle or building and use of a firearm to commit a felony.

Nauden is scheduled for sentencing on June 11 and could face up to 20 years in prison.

Authorities arrested Nauden in connection with the shooting death of 28-year-old Mandrell Swiney Jr. on June 22.
