Campbell County Property Valuation Administrator Daniel Braun was arrested Thursday, April 16, by the Kentucky Office of the Attorney General.

Braun was booked into the Campbell County Detention Center, according to jail records, on a charge of procuring or promoting the “use of a minor by electronic means.”

Under Kentucky Revised Statute (KRS) 510.155, it is a felony to knowingly use electronic communication systems—such as computers, phones, or the internet—to solicit, procure, or promote a minor, or someone posing as a minor, for sexual activity.

Braun’s arraignment is scheduled for April 17 at 8:30 a.m. before Campbell County District Court Judge Erin Sizemore.

He has served as Campbell County’s property valuation administrator since 2002 and was not seeking reelection this year.
