Omaha stabbing under investigation after domestic incident

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) — One person was hospitalized after a domestic incident escalated into a stabbing early Tuesday morning, according to police.

Officers with the Omaha Police Department were dispatched around 12:30 a.m. to the area near Benson Gardens Boulevard and Blondo Street in Omaha.

At the scene, officers found a 30-year-old man bleeding “profusely.”

Police said the man’s ex-girlfriend forced her way into his apartment and stabbed him. The victim then escaped by jumping from a second-story window, suffering additional injuries.

He was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
