OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) — One person was injured following a crash early Tuesday on Interstate 80 in Omaha.
Omaha Police responded to the scene near 20th Street shortly after 2 a.m.
Authorities confirmed that one individual was transported to the hospital. Officials believe weather conditions may have contributed to the crash, which appeared to involve multiple vehicles.
A jackknifed semi-truck on 13th Street blocked three lanes, prompting officials to advise drivers to stay to the right and expect delays as crews worked at the scene.
Snowfall during the morning hours is expected to further impact the Tuesday commute across the Omaha metro area.
