Americans love shopping online — especially on Amazon.

According to Capital One Shopping, the average Amazon user makes 77 purchases per year, which works out to roughly one order every 4.74 days.

While most deliveries go smoothly, issues can still happen. Drivers sometimes deliver the wrong item, and even when customers leave instructions, they aren’t always followed, occasionally leading to problems.

In some cases, however, the issue isn’t the delivery driver — it’s the customer. A TikTok user recently went viral after claiming their neighbor may have gone overboard with online shopping, prompting widespread curiosity.

Why Were So Many Packages Sitting There?
In a video that has gained more than 6.2 million views, TikTok user and Omaha Union soccer player Adrian Billhardt (@adrian.bht) addressed a message directly to his neighbor, Meighan.

“This video is for Meighan from our apartment complex and Meighan only. So if you’re not Meighan from our apartment complex, keep swiping,” the video begins.

As the clip continues, he shows nearly 20 packages sitting unclaimed in the building’s mailroom.

“Nineteen packages are waiting in our mailroom for pickup,” he says, jokingly calling Meighan the “consumerism final boss.”

Meighan Responds
Viewers quickly flooded the comments with reactions and theories about Meighan.

“Can we do a wellness check on Megan?!” one user asked.

“We need an unboxing video from Meghan,” another wrote.

“Megan is single-handedly keeping our economy booming,” joked a third.

Billhardt and a friend even visited her apartment, but she didn’t answer the door.

Eventually, Meighan responded herself.

“Oh I fear I am the Meighan,” she commented under the original video. In another reply, she confirmed she was fine, explaining that the pile of packages built up because she is “just a night shift gal who has been out of town.”

They Finally Meet
After eventually meeting Meighan, the group shared photos together online. The caption read, “She’s alive. She’s real. And she’s doing well. We got to see her for a brief moment before heading to her work shift and surprised her with some merch and 2 tickets to our home opener match tomorrow.”

Although Meighan couldn’t attend the game, the viral attention helped draw more people to the event — and the team secured a win. They now hope to invite her to a future match.

They also created a special surprise for her.

“We made an official jersey for you with your name on the back and the number 19, because there were 19 packages left in the mailroom,” Billhardt said while showing the jersey.
