OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Police arrested a man after he attempted to rob a donut shop in Omaha on Saturday.

According to Omaha Police, the incident occurred Saturday evening at the Krispy Kreme on 72nd Street.

Officers said employees reported that 42-year-old Glenn Sion-Arrenz stayed inside the business for an extended time, harassed customers while claiming he was “God,” and took drinks from the cooler before approaching the counter.

At the counter, Sion-Arrenz claimed he had a gun and demanded money from the register.

When officers arrived, they found him still at the scene and took him into custody. Authorities booked him on a charge of attempted robbery.
