OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) — A man was arrested after two cutting incidents near the Creighton campus on Saturday.

According to Omaha police, the first incident happened near 24th and Cass Plaza just after 11:20 a.m. The second occurred about two minutes later near 18th and Izard streets.

Officers determined the two incidents were connected. The victims, two men aged 19 and 59, were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police arrested 34-year-old Jonathan Delatorre and booked him on charges of first-degree assault, second-degree assault, attempted first-degree assault, use of a weapon to commit a felony, and possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person.
