LINCOLN – (KFOR Apr. 8) – Police are investigating the death of a 30-year-old Lincoln woman as suspicious, according to officials on Wednesday.
Lincoln Police Public Information Manager Erika Thomas said officers responded shortly before 4:30 a.m. to a home near Northwest 51st Street and West Huntington Avenue for a medical call. When officers arrived, they found the woman injured. Paramedics performed CPR before transporting her to a Lincoln hospital, where she later died.
Thomas said the case may be connected to an assault reported out of state on Sunday, leading investigators to classify the death as suspicious.
Authorities have not released additional details, including information about the reported assault or where it occurred.
