OMAHA, Neb. — Omaha police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect caught on camera using a stolen credit card at a convenience store near 103rd and Fort Streets around 6 a.m. on Feb. 24.
Investigators say the suspect broke into a garage about 45 minutes earlier and stole several items, including the credit card. Authorities report that the suspect then used the card to purchase orange juice, milk, and snacks, and the transaction was successfully completed.
Police also released an image of the suspect’s vehicle, which appears to be a late 1990s or early 2000s model with a two-tone paint job, possibly a Chevy or GMC.
The suspect is described as having a stocky build, short hair, and wearing a brownish-orange shirt along with a large chain.
