OHIO — An Ohio Lottery player won $10,000 after purchasing a ticket at a North Royalton business, officials said.

The winning ticket was sold at The 3 Spot, located at 13855 Ridge Road. The winner, identified only as David, owns the business and said he regularly plays Ohio Lottery progressive games.

According to lottery officials, David bought a $20 EZPLAY Jackpot USA ticket with Spin Numbers 2, 7 and 5. The numbers totaled 14, matching the $10,000 prize on the Liberty Spin wheel.

After required state and federal taxes, David will receive about $7,325.

Lottery officials said the multi-state progressive jackpot game has overall odds of 1 in 4.22. As of March 25, the jackpot had grown to more than $1.65 million.

Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $34 billion to education across the state.
