Dear Central High Staff and Families,
I am writing to share that two individuals at Central High have tested positive for COVID-19.
We immediately engaged our health services staff to investigate. Based on the contact tracing process, anyone who needs to monitor for symptoms or quarantine received direct communication from district staff. We have layers of health and safety protocols at school. Face coverings, social distancing, frequent handwashing and sanitizing and enhanced disinfecting routines are all in place for the protection of students, staff and families.
Because of privacy concerns, this letter shares what information I am able to at this time. We value open and transparent communication with our school community. The health and safety of our students, staff and families is paramount.
